Elton John Songs

I love Elton John's music. He has an amazing list of songs to his name. His songs are great to sing along to and will always be remembered. Elton John is a very unique artist, (especially known for being gay and wearing wacky hats and glasses) and I admire him for his work. This is the list of my favourite Elton John songs:

I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues -

This is my favourite Elton song. I love singing along with this one. It needs to be played full blast and you have to sing at the top of your lungs...that's my rule! Fantastic song!

Rocket Man -

This is another great sing along, awesome for karaoke. My favourite line in this song is: "I miss the Earth so much, I miss my wife." Don't ask me why, there's just something about it that I like.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road -

The tune to this song is awesome. Elton's voice is beautiful and this song is perfect for him to showcase his amazing talent.

Daniel -

This is a sad song but great all the same.

Don't Go Breaking My Heart -

A duet sung by Elton and Kiki Dee. It's another great karaoke song that will get you bopping along in time with the music.

Tiny Dancer -

Tiny dancer always makes me think of the movie "Almost Famous" every single time that I hear it. I love the scene where they are all sitting in the bus and everyone joins in singing along to Tiny Dancer.

Your Song -

Another classic Elton John song. Every time I hear this one it makes me think of the movie "Moulin Rouge" as Ewan McGreggor sings it in the film. This song also reminds me of my mum, she likes it :)

Benny And The Jets -

I remember singing this with my sister when we were younger, we used to love listening to the Elton John CD and singing along with it. It reminds me of fun times :)

The Way You Look Tonight - I love the music at the start of the song before he starts singing. The lyrics are gorgeous, it's just an all round great song.
